I don't like microwaving in pl...That's a good one. I don't like microwaving in plastic due to the ring-around-the-rim marks when I heat it for too long - especially spaghetti sauce. The stains are hard to wash out.<BR/><BR/>My favorite is the aspartame disease thing - you know, artificial sweetener causes blindness, cancer, etc.? We actually have a book in the library titled <I>Aspartame Disease: the ignored epidemic</I> by H. J. Roberts (Sunshine Sentinel Press, 2001). It goes out frequently. So far the FDA, researchers at MIT, and the American Council on Science and Health (among others) aren't buying it, but the general public doesn't read the scientific journals much, I guess.<BR/><BR/>Oh, and peanut butter also causes cancer in laboratory rats....
