I'm owned by two horses. Romeo is a 17 year old AQHA gelding, who will be putting his trail buddy / babysitter status to good use. Harley is a 7 year old AQHA gelding out of Skys Blue Boy, and this year, we're going to try all KINDS of new things.

Saddle for Sale
16" SemiQH Bars, Wintec Western, Brown,
A few years old Moderate use, but in great condition Available for $200 plus buyer pays shipping
Up for sale because #1 I bought a new barrel saddle, and #2 it's too big for my little tooshie
I'm finally getting caught up on my reading again!
Saddle - tempting! But T would kill me if I bought another saddle. And Sunny & I both need to road test my next one first-lol!
Good for you on loping Chewie. Seems like his new farrier is working for him and you both. Healthy feet sure do make a difference, don't they?
Love the steer chasing posts. I've always wanted to try team penning. It's my favorite event to go watch. Your steer tracking session sounds like an absolute blast! Do you follow Mugwump Chronicles at all?
Your mentioning the difference in feel between riding Romeo & Amigo reminded me. She wrote something a few days back on tracking cattle that I thought was interesting. (Skip down to the part where she gets into Step 1, Step 2, etc.) Amigo knows his job - Romeo just hasn't quite caught on yet. Maybe you can borrow a neighbor's kids to practice on.... :)
